March 27, 2017: Don H. Liu, Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Target Corp., was the subject of an in-house counsel profile in the March 27 issue of the National Law Journal.

On March 10, 2017, AABANY's March pro bono clinic got some coverage on Chinese TV. Read a translation of the article that goes with the video. Thanks to GSPI Committee Co-Chair Thalia Huang for the translation.

On January 19, Paul Welitzkin wrote an article in the China Daily US, in which he touches upon the different ways that the Obama administration affected Asian Americans.  Executive Director Yang Chen was quoted:

"President Obama also issued an executive order on diversity and inclusion within the federal government as related to the federal workforce and it had a big impact on Asian Americans who work for the federal government."

On January 10, China Press published an article noting that in 2017 The Chinese Chamber of Commerce (CCC) will work with Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) to provide a series of free legal advice clinics for Chinese Americans. Consultation service will be conducted on the second Wednesday of each month. These clinics will cover various topics including family issues, housing, and immigration.  The first clinic was held on January 11, 2017
