The Honorable Cheryl Gonzales, Chair of the Board for the MBBA, invites you to attend the International Women's Day Reception being hosted by the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ), host organizations and various co-sponsors.  Judge Gonzales is Vice President for the National Association of Women Judges, New York Chapter, a host organization.  This year the IAWJ will screen "Courting Justice," a documentary film examining the professional and personal challenges facing six women judges of the Constitutional Court of South Africa during the transition from apartheid to democracy.  Here is a video clip of the documentary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rT85-zhnWY. 

This event is being held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the U.S. Court of International Trade, 1 Federal Plaza, 4^th Floor, New York, NY.  The reception will start at 6:00pm and the screening will start at 7:00pm followed by discussion with film maker Ruth Cowan and international judges.  THIS EVENT IS NOW FREE OF CHARGE.
