Dear Attorneys,

Expert Witnesses:Focus of September 17 CLE

Your perspective on how and when to use an expert in litigation is bound to change after attending the Academy's September 17 CLE. Entitled, aptly, USING EXPERT WITNESSES IN LITIGATION, the seminar features a distinguished faculty that will shed light on working with experts in conjunction with trials, trial preparation, and other aspects of litigation.

Presenters include Past SCBA President Harvey Besunder; Hillary Frommer of Farrell Fritz's Manhattan Office; and Elizabeth Shampnoi, a NYCattorney who has established a distinctive reputation as advising counsel on the selection of expert witnesses. Academy Officer Rob Harper is the program coordinator.

The program runs from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. (sign-in from 6:30 p.m.). Two MCLE credits (1 skills; 1 professional practice) will be awarded. Tuition is $65 for SCBA members; $75 for non-members; and $40 for attorneys who wish to audit the course without MCLE credit. Law students may attend free.

The presentation is also available as a real-time webcast.

If litigation -- large or small -- is part of your practice, you will want to attend!
