Does your current practice involve transactions or cases in Asia? Are you interested in helping AABANY start an Asia Practice Committee? Are you interested in meeting or networking with attorneys who have an Asia Practice?

Then this event is for you!

AABANY invites everyone, members or non-members, who have an interest in starting or joining an Asia Practice Committee, to attend a general interest meeting and CLE program on Thursday evening at Wachtell Lipton’s offices. The schedule is as follows:

6:00pm: Arrival and check-in
6:30pm: Roundtable Discussion: Forming an Asia Practice Committee at AABANY
7:00pm: CLE Program - Latest Legal Developments in China and Their Impact on US Companies
8:00pm: Networking Reception

JunHe partners will brief you on hot topics in Chinese law, including the proposed foreign investment law repealing the current, decades-old FDI legal regime; high-stake antitrust enforcement efforts; and surging outbound investments. In addition, partners from Wachtell and JunHe will compare notes on the latest anti-corruption efforts under the FCPA and its Chinese equivalent. Panel to be moderated by Alex Hao, a partner from JunHe’s New York office. One hour CLE credit will be offered.

Looking forward to seeing you!
