So Ordered: Judge Lorna G. Schofield's Do's and Don'ts for Making the Most of Your Legal Career

You are invited to an evening of conversation and cocktails with the Hon. Lorna G. Schofield, United States District Judge for the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.


Judge Schofield joined the federal bench in 2012. Prior to her judicial appointment, she was a litigation partner at Debevoise & Plimpton and served as an Assistant US Attorney in the Southern District of New York. The first Filipino-American to serve as an Article III federal judge, Judge Schofield has been active with the American Bar Association, holding many leadership positions including Chair of the Section of Litigation. 

Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

This event is hosted by the Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York (FALA-New York)
in collaboration with the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY)
and Milbank’s Asian Pacific Islander Network (APIN) and Women’s Initiative.
