Please join Cardozo School of Law, Columbia Law School, Fordham University School of Law, New York Law School, New York University School of Law, Seton Hall University School of Law and the Perception Institute for an afternoon of social justice oriented workshops and discussions.
 
Professionals from a variety of fields will share techniques for addressing the multiplicity of social justice issues facing communities of color; and provide strategies for maintaining a healthy lifestyle while combating these issues. This program is open to all law students and alumni. RSVP required.

Details

The Science of Navigating Race:  Tools for Change and Resilience will feature professionals from the legal community and the Perception Institute, training on how to have difficult, but necessary, conversations on race with counterparts who may be resistant to the injustice people of color regularly face. Running Time: 90 minutes
 
Self-Care: Staying Healthy While Coping with Social Injustice will feature a panel of health and wellness professionals who will discuss self-care and coping mechanisms for people of color who often face the challenges of combating while simultaneously living through injustice. Running Time: 50 minutes
 
Changemakers: Lessons in Activism, Leadership and Social Justicewill feature a panel of community leaders and attorneys who will share their views on the different roles one can play in the fight against injustice. Running Time: 50 minutes
