Since Trump's election, there has been a lot of uncertainty and anxiety rippling throughout the immigrant communities. UEAA's Young Women's Leadership Program and Justice For Our Neighbors will discuss what the future may hold concerning the DACA program, the possible revival of NSEERS, what to do if ICE raids your home, and the overhaul of our current immigration system.
TJ Mills, supervising attorney for Justice for Our Neighbors, will lead the discussion with Diana Shum from the Legal Aid's Immigration Unit and immigration attorneys Eve Guillergan and Amanda Bernado participating and sharing materials. Please join us as we strive to better protect and serve our communities.
Languages available at the forum: English, Spanish, Cantonese.
Co-sponsored by Justice for Our Neighbors (JFON), OCA Asian Pacific American Advocates (OCA-NY), Asian American Bar Association of NY (AABANY) and Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (KALAGNY).
