Continuing Legal Education Seminars

The Eastern District of New York Chapter of the FBA in partnership with the Southern District Chapter of the FBA and the FBA's Bankruptcy and Securities Law Sections will be hosting a program on critical issues in Bankruptcy and Securities Law:

March 28, 2017, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Brooklyn Federal Courthouse, 225 Cadman Plaza East, Brooklyn, NY 11201

The Program will consist of three 90-minute sessions addressing numerous issues arising at the intersection of bankruptcy and securities laws, and will include a luncheon speaker. A cocktail reception will be held at the conclusion of the session and will include the presentation of an Award for Excellence in Securities Jurisprudence to the Hon. Nicholas G. Garaufis for his outstanding service to the federal courts and for his contributions in the area of securities law.

The FBA EDNY Chapter will offer 5.0 NY CLE credits for this sessionThis program is suitable for securities and restructuring practitioners, and both newly-admitted and experienced attorneys.

The registration fee to attend this program is $125 for members of the FBA, $175 for non-members, and Free for Judges, Law Clerks (current and former), FBA Law Student Division Members, and Government Attorneys.

Registration fee includes lunch and the cocktail reception.

The EDNY Chapter is also providing a fee waiver or reduction in appropriate circumstances. Please contact Mary Ryan at 631-712-5765 to request a waiver or for additional information. A separate form will be provided to persons seeking a fee waiver or reduction.
