Class Description: Slow Flow and Restorative: We will begin with a slow flow of poses to warm the body up and release tension, then move into restorative postures to bring on deep relaxation, and finally you will be guided through a short guided meditation for even deeper release. For those unfamiliar with restorative yoga, it uses various props (blocks and bolsters) to support and encourage the body to open and release muscular and emotional tightness. Restorative poses are explored for longer periods of time than traditional postures and have been proven to be therapeutic, encouraging peace of mind while managing stress.  This is an all levels class, whether you have no experience or years of practice behind you.

AttendanceSpace is limited so registration is required. Attendance is free for AABANY members and $20 for non-members, payable upon registration. Bring your own yoga mat or rent one from the studio for $2 cash.
