NYC Bar presents “The COVID-19 Loan Programs: Latest Developments and Potential Risks for Lenders” webinar

This webinar, led by a distinguished group of experts, including former DFS Superintendent Maria Vullo, will cover the latest developments under the CARES Act loan programs and the implications for lenders who participate in those programs. With over $1 trillion authorized, the two main programs—the Payroll Protection Program and the Main Street lending facilities—were designed to help businesses get through the lockdown and enable them to rebound as the country reopens. The PPP was depleted quickly, in a matter of days, while the Main Street lending facilities remain in their nascent stages. The panel will discuss the latest with the PPP, including the Administration’s recent decision to disclose the names of certain PPP loan recipients, and the final terms of the Main Street lending facilities, opportunities for lenders, as well as the potential risks of participating in those programs.
