AABANY's Book Club will be hosting a discussion on Mieko Kawakami's Breasts and Eggs, a critically acclaimed best-selling novel following modern womanhood, bodily autonomy, and the complexities of reproduction in contemporary Japan. Japanese writer Mieko Kawakami recounts the journeys of three women as they confront oppressive norms in search for a future to call their own.
