From Broadway to Television: A Diversity-Focused Conversation with South Asian Actress Reshma Shetty
In honor of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, please join the Asia PHAN for a diversity-focused conversation with Reshma Shetty, television and film actress and singer best known for her lead role as Divya Katdare in the hit USA Network original series “Royal Pains.” This event is open to all.

TIME: 12:30 PM ET: Lunch and a brief conversation with Reshma -- followed by audience Q&A
LOCATION: Paul Hastings, 200 Park Avenue
We will talk with Reshma about her unique upbringing, her phenomenal career as one of television’s first female South Asian series leads, and her participation in USA Network’s “Characters Unite” program, an award-winning public service campaign intended to raise awareness and combat prejudice and discrimination.

About Reshma Shetty:
In addition to her role on Royal Pains, Reshma also played the lead role in A.R. Rahman’s/Andrew Lloyd Webber’s first national Broadway tour of “Bombay Dreams.” She has made multiple TV appearances, from NBC’s “30 Rock” to CBS’ “CSI: Miami” to Showtime’s “Happyish” and Bravo’s “Odd Mom Out.” Shetty is one of the faces of Cindy Crawford's "Meaningful Beauty" line. Shetty is a graduate of the famed Opera department at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. She also holds a Masters of Music degree from the University of Kentucky and an undergraduate degree from James Madison University.
