There have been a number of recent legislative, regulatory, and other developments in employment law, under both New York State and New York City law. This program will explore a number of these developments including: the Fair Chance Act; the Stop Credit Discrimination in Employment Act; the new minimum wage and other wage-and-hour-related rules; pregnancy and gender identity discrimination, and other increased protections against discrimination; the New York City sick time law; and the New York State family leave law. The program will provide valuable guidance to attorneys who advise New York businesses, as well as attorneys who advise employees who work in New York.
