AABANY Litigation Committee and the CBLA Present: Litigation Funding – Past, Present, and Future
The field of litigation funding/finance has attracted substantial attention in recent years as a disruptive, sometimes controversial alternative to traditional contingency arrangements. Please join AABANY's Litigation Committee and the Chinese Business Lawyers Association for a panel on the evolution of this burgeoning industry, featuring a discussion of ethical considerations, legal principles, potential applications of funding, and how they may serve claimholders, advocates, and investors.
Panelists will include:
AABANY is certified by the New York State Continuing Legal Education Board as an Accredited Provider. This program has been approved in accordance with the requirements of the CLE Board for a maximum of 1 credit hours, in which 1 credit hour will be applied toward the Ethics and Professionalism requirement. This program is suitable for both transitional and non-transitional New York attorneys.
