		| An invitation from NYU APALSA.   Please join us for the 2018 Fred T. Korematsu Lecture, a lecture series founded in 2000 as a forum for Asian American perspective in the law. NYU APALSA is proud to host Justice Goodwin Liu of the California Supreme Court in conversation about his recently published report, A Portrait of Asian Americans in the Law . The study, coauthored with four Yale law students, is the first-ever systematic examination of how Asian Americans are situated in the legal profession. His work demonstrates that, in recent decades, Asian Americans have dramatically increased their enrollment in law schools and in virtually all sectors of the legal profession. Yet acrossall sectors, there is a significant dearth of Asian Americans in top ranks of leadership. Justice Liu will explore the reasons for these disparities and possible pathways for further progress. To read more, visit: www.apaportraitproject.org.The Fred T. Korematsu Lecture will be held on Tuesday, February 27th, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in Greenberg Lounge, Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square S.
