At this event, Judge Jaya Madhavan and Judge Anil Singh will answer your questions and discuss their unique that led them to the bench.Judge Madhavan was appointed to the Housing Court in 2004, and in 2007, was named Supervising Judge of the Bronx Housing Court. Judge Madhavan is the first Supervising Judge of South Asian heritage in New York and one of only three South Asian judges in the history of the state. Judge Singh was elected to the Civil Court of the City of New York in November 2002. He is the first South Asian elected judge in the State of NewYork. In 2010, he was designated an Acting Supreme Court Justice.
