What: Asian American Journalists Association New York chapter’s Trivia Bowl fundraiser

Where: Broad Street Ballroom, 41 Broad Street (between Beaver Street and Exchange Place)

When: Friday,  May 13, 2016, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., including free dinner and drinks

Why: Event proceeds go toward supporting chapter operations including supporting students who pursue the journalism profession; providing increased training to AAPI journalists so they can be effective leaders for positive change in the industry with a commitment to diversity in the newsroom, and forging stronger ties within the AAPI communities ….and it’s also a fun way to network!
