Please join us on October 7, 2014 for our annual Mediation Settlement Day Kick-Off Event, which will be held this year from 4:30PM-7:00PM at New York Law School, 185 West Broadway, New York, NY 10013.

What Happens at the Kick Off Event on Oct. 7?

A lively Kick-Off Event is held in advance of Mediation Settlement Day to bring the community together to celebrate mediation. The Kick-Off Event begins with an opportunity to network and learn about mediation training and services. The Kick-Off Event also features a panel discussion and a keynote address by the Honorary Chair. 1.5 FREE CLE credit is awarded. The MSD Honorary Chairperson delivers the keynote address, and the Frontline Champion Award is presented to an individual who has made meaningful contributions to the field of mediation.

Who is this Year’s Honorary Chair and Keynote Speaker?

Hon. Sol Wachtler will serve as Honorary Chair of Mediation Settlement Day 2014. Hon. Sol Wachtler is a Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Constitutional Law and the First Amendment at Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center.

Who is this Year’s Frontline Champion Award Recipient?

This year's Frontline Champion Award will be presented to Kenneth Andrichik who is the Senior Vice President, Chief Counsel and Director of Mediation Strategy at FINRA Dispute Resolution. Please join us in celebrating Kenneth's contributions to the ADR field.

Who should attend the Mediation Settlement Day and Kick-Off Event?
Anyone interested in becoming a mediator or learning more about mediation as an alternative means for resolving disputes. This free event provides excellent networking and learning opportunities for individuals, students, attorneys and mediators. No advance registration is required.
