Please join AABANY for a Q&A panel presentation on how to become an elected Civil and Supreme Court Judge. Among the different kinds of judgeship in New York, becoming an elected judge presents one significant advantage over others: it is the only path to appointment to the four Appellate Divisions, which can take you to the Court of Appeals. This presentation, comprised of a panel of elected Civil Court Judges and a political consultant specializing in local judicial politics, will provide a road map of sorts to know what to do (and who to know) to becoming an elected judge.
