The Women’s Committee invites you to join us for the second of a series of informal conversations with prominent Asian American women in the law. Through these events we aim to create an intimate space that allows for open dialogue on real issues that Asian American women face in the legal community.
A little bit about Sue –
Sue has been working as in house counsel in the FinTech (financial technology) startup space since 2015. She currently serves as Director of Legal and Compliance at STASH, where she collaborates closely with the Compliance, Product, Marketing, and Business Development teams on launching new product offerings in the personal finance space. Prior to STASH, Sue was General Counsel (and only legal eagle) at WiseBanyan, a seed stage FinTech startup, where she was responsible for implementing and maintaining all aspects of the company's legal and compliance programs. Before joining the FinTech world, she worked with various traditional financial institutions, including 40 North Management.
Sue holds a B.A. from New York University, and a J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law.
STASH has generously offered to host this event at its office, and light beverages (wine/beer) and snacks will be provided. This will be a great opportunity to learn about working in FinTech, start-ups, and in-house! If interested, please register (space is limited to 20).
