Please join us for a presentation and panel discussion on the basics of intellectual property transactions involving distressed companies in the United States. Our panel will provide an overview of U.S. bankruptcy and intellectual property law and explore potential issues, risks, and considerations in connection with licensing and purchasing intellectual property where parties are financially distressed. In addition, the panel will address particular issues that may face Chinese and other foreign companies engaging in such transactions, such as CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States) scrutiny.
