AABANY's Pro Bono & Community Service Committee and Women's Committee are collaborating with OCA-NY and FCC (Families with Children from China) for their APA Women's Conference, Educating & Empowering Asian Women, on Sunday, April 28, 2019. The conference aims to empower professional women and members of the community. The Pro Bono Committee will be holding a Pro Bono Legal Advice & Referral Clinic and community presentations alongside the conference. We are seeking both attorney (preferably with experience volunteering at our monthly clinics or at least 2 years of experience) and interpreter volunteers. The pro bono clinic is tentatively scheduled for 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with setting up and client registration starting at 10:00 AM. Community presentations will run concurrently with the clinic.
