In celebration of Asian American Heritage month, please join us for a special address by Don H. Liu on Thursday, May 23, in Nixon Peabody’s New York office. Don is executive vice president and chief legal and risk officer for Target and a member of its executive leadership team. He oversees all legal, risk and compliance, corporate governance and governmental affairs matters for the company. Before joining Target, Don was executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for Xerox Corporation and held in-house legal leadership roles at Toll Brothers, IKON Office Solutions, and Aetna U.S. Healthcare. He began his career in private practice, specializing in securities and M&A.

Don will reflect on life experiences that led him to where he is today—from the cultural challenges he and his family faced coming to America and running a small business to his later law firm and in-house roles—and show how business knowledge helped guide him throughout. He will cover:
