The Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the Law Department at Bristol-Myers Squibb invites law students to submit applications for our 2020 Diversity & Inclusion Law Department Summer Internship Program. We are seeking qualified law students of diverse backgrounds who are interested in obtaining a unique experience within a world-class corporate law environment. Summer internships are not expected to lead to an offer of full-time employment.
Bristol-Myers Squibb is a global Biopharma company focused on the discovery, development and delivery of innovative medicines to help people prevail against such serious diseases. Since 1999, our summer internship program has consistently attracted outstanding students from diverse backgrounds who share a common interest in learning more about corporate practice at a global Biopharma company. In addition to gaining in-house experience, our program provides learning opportunities in areas of the law relevant to the pharmaceutical industry. Past activities have included direct exposure with clients and outside counsel, monthly seminars conducted by senior management representatives of various business units, career development programs, tours of our manufacturing facilities and an opportunity to present to the General Counsel.
This year, we plan to host 8-10 students in various areas and supporting multiple geographies within the law department, primarily at our offices in Central New Jersey. The attached brochure provides more information about the program, including our Recruitment Profile. Please share this information with your students and encourage them to apply for this rewarding opportunity. Please send all applications to elliott.korsen@bms.com by January 8, 2020.
Applications submitted after this date, or in an incorrect format, will not be considered. To be formatted correctly, each application must be submitted in one PDF document with the applicant’s name as the title of the file, and include (in the following order):
