Lauren Yee is the New York-based playwright of CAMBODIAN ROCK BAND, which has had sold out runs across the country, and is finally landing in New York starting next month.

The show celebrates the extraordinary power of Asian American stories and artists. It's also a show that humanizes Cambodia's ongoing Khmer Rouge/Extraordinary Chambers/human rights tribunals in powerful, joyful, music-drenched ways and centers on a young Cambodian American woman involved in the trials.
