Interested in becoming an arbitrator in the small claims courts for the Civil Court of the City of New York? 

The Small Claims Arbitrators Association is pleased to host a small claims court arbitrator training on April 2, 2020, from 5:30-7:30pm at the Civil Court of Richmond County (927 Castleton Ave, Staten Island, NY 10310). Please sign up today as space is limited.

In order to be eligible to sit as a small claims arbitrator you must satisfy the following requirements:

1) Be a licensed New York attorney that is registered and in good standing with the New York State Bar.

2) Be admitted to the Bar for at least 5 years before you can sit as an arbitrator (you may train before you are eligible to sit as an arbitrator). 

3) Complete Small Claims Arbitrator Training and a brief interview.
