Coming up June 7th is one of the Judiciary Committee's signature events, the Annual Judges' Reception, which for the last few years has been recognizing all newly elected, elevated and retired AAPI judges. Despite the slow strides made in increasing AAPI representation on the bench, AAPIs remain vastly under-represented in the New York courts, and still, in 2023, there are 0 AAPI judges on the Court of Appeals.
