The NYC Bar Association’s capital defense training program will take place on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. This free program is intended for law students and attorneys who are currently representing or are interested in representing death-row inmates in post-conviction proceedings. We hope to be able to provide 6.0 free CLE credits, including 1.0 credit in ethics.
The training session will be followed by presentation of the Norman Redlich Capital Defense Distinguished Service and Pro Bono Awards. The award presentation will be followed by a keynote lecture by John Gleeson, former U.S. District Judge and now a partner at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP. The program will conclude with a cocktail reception.
