If you are an attorney admitted to the Bar for at least 5 years (2 years for court attorneys) and would like to serve as an arbitrator in Small Court in any of the Civil Courts throughout the City of New York, please join us for an in-person training to be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 6:15 pm.

This training will introduce attorneys to the legal standards applicable to small and commercial claims in the Small Claims Parts of the New York City Civil Court, procedures for conducting arbitrations and inquests, and provide tips for ensuring that you have positive interactions with the court and litigants.

Pre-registration is required. SCAA dues are $50.00 annually. Training attendance is free for SCAA members (financial hardship waivers are available).
