DISTINGUISHED GUEST: Sylvia Ann Hewlettis an economist
and the founder and CEO of the Center for Talent Innovation, a
Manhattan-based think tank. She founded and chairs a task force of 75
multinational companies focused on fully realizing the new streams of
talent in the global labor market. For the last nine years, she's
directed the Gender and Policy Program at Columbia University's School
of International and Public Affairs. She's also co-director of the
Women's Leadership Program at the Columbia Business School. Hewlett is
the author of ten Harvard Business Review articles and ten critically
acclaimed books. She is currently ranked number eleven on the Thinkers
50 list of the world's most influential business gurus. Her writings
have appeared inThe New York Times, theFinancial Times,Foreign Affairs, and theInternational Herald Tribune,
and she is a featured blogger on the HBR Blog Network. In 2011, she
received the Women of the Year Award from the Financial Women's
Association. She is a frequent guest on TV and radio programs,

World News, and Talk of the Nation - and she has been lampooned on Saturday Night Live. A Kennedy Scholar and graduate of Cambridge University, Hewlett earned her PhD in economics at London University.

wants to attend in November 2010 or later is free with no commitment
to join. If you've previously attended Flex-Time Lawyers LLC events or
been a Flex-Time Lawyers LLC member before November 2010, your
attendance at your first Law & Reorder is still free. Once you
attend or have attended your first Law & Reorder program for free
as of November 2010 or later, you can pick and choose the programs you
want to attend for a $50 program fee per program. Or, you can choose to
purchase a $150 membership fee that will cover your attendance for
four consecutive programs, including the first free one you attended.
