Asian Americans: From Allies to Accomplices
July 27 I 4:30 pm ET

GAPABA together with NAPABA and Stop Repeating History are proud to present the upcoming program Asian Americans: From Allies to Accomplices, in Solidarity with Black Lives on Monday, July 27th, beginning at 4:30 pm EST.

Following GAPABA's recent statement in support of Black Lives, we present an important discussion on building Asian American allyship with Black communities. With Georgia at the epicenter of Black Lives Matters protests following the killings of Ahmaud Arbery, George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Rayshard Brooks and others, we want to discuss the intersectionality of violence against both the APA and Black/Brown communities, and how we can become better allies and accomplices.

We are dedicating this program to the Legacy of the late Congressman John Lewis, and we are proud that all of our speakers have their own stories of getting into "good trouble, necessary trouble."
