PBCS and the Asian Americans for Equality
will be hosting pro bono clinics at Flushing, Queens!
At these pro bono clinics, attorneys and staff provide free 30-minute legal information and referral session to limited English proficient (LEP) clients who speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and/or Spanish, in matters relating to housing, family, consumer debt, estates, and immigration matters.
There is no legal representation involved.

As always, we seek both volunteer attorneys and language interpreters to help run these clinics.
Attorney volunteers do not need to be specialists or have expertise in a specific area of law, but should have experience in client intake and consultation. Interpreter volunteers should be fluent in English and at least one of the following languages: Cantonese Chinese, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, or other Asian languages or dialects. All volunteers must be AABANY members for professional liability coverage purposes. Volunteers may sign up

Lunch will be provided to all volunteers and staff as our appreciation for your time and efforts at 11:30am. Orientation starts at 12pm and the client sessions start at 12:30pm.
