The Diversity & Inclusion Committee of the Law Department at Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) invites
law students to submit applications for their 2023 Diversity & Inclusion Law Department Summer Internship Program.

Since 1999, The BMS summer internship program has consistently attracted outstanding students from diverse backgrounds who share a common interest in learning more about corporate practice at a global Biopharma company. In addition to gaining in-house experience, the program provides learning opportunities in areas of the law relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
This year, BMS plans to host 10 students in various areas and supporting multiple geographies within the law department, primarily at their offices in Central New Jersey. It is expected that the internship will be held in person.
For 2023, all applicants will apply directly through their WORKDAY system.
The website will include all of the information required for the application. Applicants will need to apply by Friday, January 13, 2023 to be considered.
Applications submitted after this date, or in an incorrect format, will not be considered. To be formatted correctly, each application must be submitted in a single PDF document with the applicant’s name as the title of the file, and include (in the following order):
- A list of the student’s top 3 areas of interest chosen from the focus areas in the posting.
- A cover letter from the student indicating:
- A statement about why the student is an excellent candidate for the program and specifically how the student would contribute to the program

- A statement of how the student’s life experiences have informed your views on the importance of diversity and inclusion.
- A current resume
