In celebration of Law Day 2023, the Office for Justice Initiatives and the Historical Society of the New York Courts, are hosting an art contest for New York State high school students. Contestants are invited to submit their art inspired by this year’s Law Day theme, “Cornerstones of Democracy: Civics, Civility and Collaboration.” Cash prizes will be awarded courtesy of the Historical Society of the New York Courts. In addition, the winners will have their artwork featured on the Office for Justice Initiatives’ Law Day website until Law Day 2024. All contestants will receive a pocket United States Constitution and a certificate of participation.
