On July 13, the Center on Asian Americans and the Law at Fordham Law School will be hosting its Second Annual Summer Scholarship event.
This year, they will have:
- A 2-hour "master class" taught by Judge Chin and me, giving an overview of key topics and issues we cover in the full-semester course, "Asian Americans and the Law" in the morning; and
- An afternoon works-in-progress conference where scholars and law/graduate students can present drafts or proposals for scholarship and research projects on Asian American legal issues, with advice and commentary by senior scholars.
Attendees are welcome to attend either or both of the sessions.
The Center will cover meals and refreshments for the all-day event; limited travel funds may be available for students or participants with financial need.
