Please sign up by October 20th, 2023. While we have unlimited seats for the trip itself, there are approximately 15 available seats for the dinner afterward.

If you have a car and are willing to carpool with fellow participants, please include a note in your registration form and specify how many people you can accommodate. We will create a WhatsApp Group for all registered attendees to facilitate communication.

Trail:
The Bull Hill Trail is a pleasant 3-4 hour hike that's easy to follow and offers some lovely views of the Hudson River and the surrounding area. You can expect to see beautiful foliage along the way, and there's even some interesting ruins from a burned-down mansion to check out on the return trip. Overall, it's a great hike that feels like a refreshing break from city life!

Transportation:
Registrants have two options for getting there: taking the train or driving. For registrants taking the train, we will meet at Grand Central Terminal for the 9:50 Hudson Metro North train. Please arrive early so we can get seats together. (If it is easier for you, you can also take the same train from 125th Street in Harlem at 10:01.) We'll arrive in Cold Spring at 11:14. The trailhead is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station. You can buy your tickets using the MTA's eTix app or at the station.

For registrants driving there, please meet us at the trailhead at around 11:30. As mentioned above, participants are encouraged to explore carpooling options with fellow attendees.

Lunch:
We recommend bringing your own packed lunch, which we'll enjoy during the hike.

Dinner:
For registrants who also opt for dinner, we will have an early dinner together in Cold Spring at around 5pm (the location will be determined later).

Cost:
The trip itself is free of charge, but participants are responsible for their own transportation expenses. For the registrants who opt for dinner, we will require an upfront payment of $45, and AABANY members will be refunded $15 after attendance.
