The Human Rights Campaign Foundation, Outright International, and Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice is excited to present a panel exploring the recent litigation successes in LGBTQ+ rights coming out of South Korea, Taiwan, China, and Japan as well as updates in their respective movement building. Panelists will provide a background on how these cases came to be, what these wins mean for the fight for LGBTQ+ rights across East Asia and how they impact the folks in the US, and insights on how the diasporic communities here in the United States can lend their support.
The event will be held at the CUNY School of Law's Sorensen Center for International Peace and Justice on Wednesday, October 25th at 6 PM. For those unable to attend in person, we will have a remote option available. RSVPs are required for both in-person and remote attendance and can be submitted at this link.
