Ben Hsing
is the President-Elect of AABANY, and he is a highly accomplished trial
lawyer with extensive expertise in patent litigation across a wide
range of technological fields, including biopharmaceuticals, industrial
chemicals, medical devices, and memory chips. Known for delivering
successful outcomes in high-profile cases, Ben represents leading
pharmaceutical, chemical, and technology companies with precision and
skill. He also has significant experience leading teams in post-grant
contested proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB),
where his advocacy in administrative settings is equally notable.
Kwok Kei Ng is
the Co-Chair of AABANY’s Pro Bono and Community Service Committee,
overseeing the organization and operation of pro bono clinics,
particularly in Brooklyn. He also serves on the board of the Asian
American Law Fund of New York (AALFNY). With extensive legal experience
in the New York State Unified Court System, Kwok began his career as a
court interpreter and has since worked as an Assistant Law Clerk in NYS
Supreme Court and an Associate Court Attorney in NYC Civil Court. In his
free time, he volunteers as a Small Claims Court Arbitrator, a role he
has held since 2019.
Willow Liu
is a New York-admitted attorney who graduated from St. John’s
University School of Law in 2023. With a strong background in
immigration law, Willow has been an active member of the AABANY and has
been volunteering at their pro bono clinic since her law school days.
Currently residing in Shanghai, Willow remains committed to using her
skills to support her community and continue learning in her legal
career.
