The Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission of the New York State Courts, in partnership with the Chautauqua Institution, invites you to attend the 2025 Forum on Democracy, co-curated by Chautauqua Institution staff and the 2024–25 Chautauqua Perry Fellows in Democracy: Melody C. Barnes from the University of Virginia School of Law, and David French, a New York Times columnist. This engaging forum will be held from Sunday, June 8 through Tuesday, June 10, and will feature panel discussions, presentations, and seminars exploring themes such as history, voting rights, and justice. New York State Chief Judge Rowan D. Wilson will provide the keynote lecture on Monday, June 9, from 10:45AM-12PM. The Williams Commission is hosting the Chief Judge’s lecture and conversation session as part of its annual Juneteenth Symposium program series. *One (1) CLE credit to be provided. The lecture is free to attend virtually. We kindly request that anyone planning to attend the Chief Judge’s lecture virtually (free) complete the registration form so that CLE credit can be provided where applicable.
