Dear Colleagues, Friends, and Supporters: The Center on Asian Americans and the Law invites you to its Fourth Annual Teaching Workshop on July 17, 2025. This year's workshop, which will be conducted entirely virtually, will begin with an overview of our seminar on Asian Americans and the Law. This initial overview is intended for first-time workshop attendees and those who are thinking about teaching the course. For our "Master Class," we will draw from our Unit 1 on Arrival, Exclusion, and Citizenship, tying the historic cases to current events. For our lunchtime discussion, we will invite those who have taught the seminar at various schools to share best practices and lessons learned. Finally, we will have a discussion about how we might expand the audience beyond law school, to younger sets of students. Please register and share this invitation with anyone interested in learning more about Asian American legal history and how to teach it. We look forward to your joining us virtually on July 17!
