On behalf of the Nassau County Equal Justice in the Courts Committee, you are invited to attend a FREE hybrid program on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 12:45pm: "Neurodiversity in the Workplace: Awareness, Understanding, and Practical Strategies."

This FREE program will provide an overview of neurodiversity in court settings, and will address interactions with neurodiverse litigants, colleagues and attorneys. Attendees will learn how differences in communication, social cues, executive functioning, and sensory processing may present, and will gain practical strategies to foster more inclusive, accessible, and supportive court environments.

Panelists include: The Honorable Robin Kent, Acting Supreme Court Justice, Nassau County Family Court, Dan Weitz, Director, Division of Professional and Court Services, NYS Office of Court Administration, and Nicole Weidenbaum, M.S., Ed., SAS, Executive Director, Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism (NSSA).

1.5 CLE Credits in the Areas of Diversity, Inclusion & Elimination of Bias will be available for experienced attorneys only. An attendance form and an evaluation form must be completed and returned in order to receive CLE credit.
