IP Committee 2015-2016 Kickoff Meeting 

Please join us for the AABANY IP Committee’s kickoff meeting for the fiscal year of 2015-2016.  We will be discussing events and projects for the upcoming year, and we want to hear your ideas!

We will also have brief presentations on two recent controversial trademark decisions: In re Tam where the US Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB)’s refusal to register THE SLANTS on disparagement grounds and on B&B Hardware, Inc. v. Hargis Industries, Inc. where the Supreme Court ruled that issue preclusion should apply to certain TTAB cases.
