What has AABANY been up to?

AABANY is proud to say that we are New York City's largest and most active minority bar association. Due to the tireless efforts of our many Committees, AABANY is able to engage the APA legal community through our diverse and engaging programming, which includes premiere flagship events, educational panels and CLE programs, community outreach, and social and networking opportunities.  AABANY Hosts its Third Annual Judges' Reception in Celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
On Thursday, May 30, 2019, AABANY’s Judiciary Committee hosted its third annual Judges’ Reception at the Surrogate’s Courthouse, 31 Chambers Street. The reception honored newly inducted, elevated and retiring judges in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
 
 GSPI and Pro Bono Joint Committee Dinner
On March 28, the Government Service and Public Interest (GSPI) and Pro Bono Committees enjoyed some traditional Chinese delicacies at Bite of Hong Kong in Chinatown. The committees gathered for a joint year-end celebration to thank and recognize members and volunteers that made the Pro Bono Clinics, trainings, panels, and other activities a success this past year.
 
AABANY'S 30th Annual Dinner Celebrated By More Than 700 Attendees
On Wednesday, February 27, 2019, AABANY hosted its 30th Anniversary Annual Dinner: United in Action and Vision: Towards 2020 Together at Cipriani Wall Street. The dinner attracted over 700 attorneys, judges, prosecutors, in-house counsel, government officials, and dignitaries and sponsorships from more than 55 law firms and corporations.
